Newborn Photo Love

When Camille was two weeks old, we had some newborn photos taken of her. I'm so happy that we took an hour or so that evening to record this little girl as a brand new baby. She already looks so different at two months! Little one is growing up right before our eyes.

I take photos of our baby nearly every day, but it's not often that I'm in them with her. I think our photographer Joanna did a fantastic job capturing these precious moments for us. Here are some of my favorites from our session.

















The last photo made an appearance on our birth announcements, which I'll share soon. I just love her scrunchy sleepy face and that HAND. She's got the most expressive, flamboyant hands when she sleeps, and I love having that documented in the last photo.

I'm so appreciative to sweet Joanna for capturing these images that have such a special place in our hearts!

    These are so precious! As I'm always the one behind the camera I know how hard it is to get IN the pics with the babe! You'll love having these early shots with her to remember her tiny sweetness! (and I JUST saw your comment from a few weeks ago asking about my camera and lens- canon t3i and 50 mm lens : ) )

    Some seriously cute photos! Your subject was beyond gorgeous. Love that ya'll were able to capture some yawns on the shoot too!!! Precious!

    My son is two weeks old this weekend. We just had photos taken 2 days ago. I can't wait to see them. Yours of Camille are so adorable! I have a question for you. How do you like the moms on call method? I am trying to figure out how to start getting my son on a schedule while I'm on my maternity leave.

    I love newborn photo sessions. They are always such a sweet time and like you said, great to have since they seem to change almost daily!
